Edward Pace's Last Will and Testament:

"I, Ed Pace, of the city of Mt. Vernon, in the county of Jefferson and state of Illinois,  do hereby make, publish and declare this my last Will and Testament, in the manner and form following:

FIRST: I direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid as soon after my decease,  as conveniently may be done.

SECOND: All the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, real and personal, and mixed, of whatsoever it may consist, or wherever situated which I may own or possess or to which I may be entitled, at the time of my death, I give, devise and bequeath to my wife Iduma Pace, to have and to hold in her own right forever; Provided she survive me and in the event she does not survive me then I give, devise and bequeath said remainder of my estate to my children William R. Pace and Nell R. Keef and my two grandchildren James E. Glover and Norma R. Glover, share and share alike, to each a one fourth share thereof.

THIRD: I nominate constitute and appoint my said wife Iduma Pace to be the executrix of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former Wills, by me made and direct that my said executrix be not required to give bond, as such executrix.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal this the 19th day of May A.D. 1932.

The above instrument was subscribed, published and declared by the testator, Ed Pace, to be his last Will and Testament, in our presence and in the presence of each of us, and we at the same time, at his request, in his presence of each other, have subscribed our names, as attesting witnesses, this the 19th day of May A.D. 1932.
