Little Donald Eugein Farthing died just before his father Walter Raleigh. Raleigh was too ill to be told of his little babies death.

The funeral was held in the house very quietly to keep father from hearing.

My mother Lucille thought her father knew though as he never asked to see the baby again but did ask to see the other two children.

Della Lurella Farthing-Friedman & Michael Friedman on their wedding day

Della Lurella Farthing born 6/14/1922 and died 10/13/2001,
the same day her sister Ethel Lucille died,
within one hour of another of the same heart disease complications.

Della was in Michigan and Ethel Lucille in CA.

In later years she was married to Wayne Walker from Jefferson County.

Della was buried in Michigan.
