Alma Ruth (Hopper) Wyatt

EWING - Alma Ruth WYATT, 86, died at 4:08 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26, 2006, in Helia Health Care in Benton.

She was born in Mount Vernon, on April 15, 1920, the daughter of John and Minnie (PIGG) HOPPER.

She married Lestel O. WYATT, and he preceded her in death Sept. 9, 1991.

Mrs. WYATT was a homemaker and a pastor's wife. She, along with her husband, owned and operated Wyatt Sales in Whittington for several years. She gave piano lessons at Rend Lake Evangelistic Association, where she shared her love of God through the ministry of music and teaching others.

Mrs. WYATT is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Darell and Sharon WYATT of Ewing and Kyle WYATT of Carterville; daughter-in-law, Nancy WYATT of Ewing; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a special niece, Peggy Jo LISENBY and husband, Eugene, of Iuka.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Larry; one sister; two brothers and three in infancy.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Johnston Funeral Home in Ina, with the Rev. Bill Hottensen officiating. Burial will be in Kirk Cemetery in Ina. Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Sunday at Johnston Funeral Home in Ina.
