Mary (Dodson) Yearwood Wilson

Mrs. Mary YEARWOOD WILSON, a resident of Mt. Vernon for many years, died at 9:30 o'clock last night at her home, 1321 South Tenth Street. Her age was 66y7m28d. Mrs. WILSON had been ill three years.

Born in Marion County on August 17, 1868, a daughter of James and Eliza DODSON. Mrs. WILSON had lived here nearly all of her life and had become very well known.

She was last united in marriage to Sam WILSON, who preceded her in death about three years ago.

A member of the Christian Church, she was always faithful to her religious beliefs and practiced them in her every day life.

Surviving are two sons, Lon YEARWOOD and Ray YEARWOOD of Detroit, four sisters and three brothers. The sisters are Mrs. Harry WHITE and Mrs. Angus DANIELS of Mt. Vernon and Mrs. Louella WATTS and Mrs. Emma D. FRANKS of St. Louis. James R. DODSON and Marshal DODSON of Mt. Vernon and Charles E. DODSON of New York City are brothers. One grand-daughter also survives.

Funeral arrangements will be announced Wednesday.

Funeral services for Mrs. YEARWOOD WILSON will be held at the First Christian Church, of which she was a member, at two o'clock Thursday afternoon, with Rev. George P. RUTLEDGE, the pastor, in charge. Interment will be made at Oakwood Cemetery. The body will remain at the Myers Chapel, 122 North Tenth Street, until shortly before the funeral hour, however, and may be viewed there.
