Marion Willmore, 64, of Rt. 1, West Frankfort, died at 8:40 a.m. today at Union Hospital in West Frankfort.

He was born Oct. 28, 1909, in Franklin County to John and Belle Lewis Willmore.

He married Lottie Carlisle, Feb. 16th, 1934, who survives.

Mr. Willmore was a member of the Heights Church of West Frankfort, and was a coal miner. He also worked for the Nordge Co. of Herrin.

He was a member of United Mine Workers of America Local 8317.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Don, in the Army stationed in Germany, and Wayne of Herrin; a daughter, Lenora Stanton of Godfry; a brother, Oakley of Mt. Vernon; a sister, Myrtle Poston of Mt. Vernon; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Stone Funeral home in West Frankfort. the Rev. Maurice Absher and the Rev. Jack Hood will officiate. Burial will be in Boner Cemetery in West Frankfort. Friends may call after 6:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
