FORMER RESIDENT DIES AT DANVILLE

News has been received here of the death of P. H. WILLIAMS, who was formerly a resident of Mt. Vernon, but at the time of his death was residing with his daughter, Mrs. Onnie COCHRAN, at Danville, Ill.

The cause of death is unknown, but one year ago he suffered a paralytic stroke, and had been in failing health since that time.

The body will be brought to Mt. Vernon Tuesday morning, and the funeral will be conducted by Rev. Wm. FISH, of Benton, at the Primitive Baptist Church at 10:00 a.m., after wihich the body will be taken to Pace Cemetery south of Mt. Vernon.
