Millard Dale Williams

Millard D. "M.D." Williams, 65, Centralia, died May 30, 1990, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis.

Mr. Williams was a conductor for Illinois central Railroad for 36 years until retirement.

He was born Aug. 8, 1924, in Marlow, a son of Gale and Lillie (Moore) Williams.

March 1, 1952, in Corinth, Miss., he married Ramona Felts, who survives.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Garnier and Sons Funeral Home in Centralia with the Rev. Richard Hughes officiating. Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Black Oak Ridge Cemetery in Marlow.

Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Masonic services will be 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Williams is survived by his mother of Ina; three sons, Ted Williams of Mattoon and Scott Williams and John Williams, both of Centralia; two daughters, Sandy Holtkamp of Centralia and Patricia Gooding of Decatur; one brother, G. Quinton Williams of Evansville, Ind.; one sister, Shirley Erwin of Ina; and five grandchildren.

Mr. Williams was a member of Centralia Masonic Lodge and Shriners Club.
