Stephen WILCOX - Ina

Stephen E. WILCOX, 35, Ina, died Monday in St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia.

He was born in Mt. Vernon on March 30, 1949, the son of Ralph and Shirley (DARR) WILCOX.

He was an oil field pumper.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Johnston Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon with the Rev. Richard PEARCE officiating. Burial will follow in the William Chapel Cemetery in Ewing. Friends may call after 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Survivors include his parents, Ralph WILCOX of Bluford and Mrs. Shirley GULLEY of Mt. Vernon; his grandmother, Dorothy WILCOX of Benton; two sons, Stephen and Carl WILCOX of Johnston City; one daughter, Stephenie WILCOX of Hobart, Ind.; and two sisters, Mrs. Karen HOWARD of Mt. Vernon and Angela WILCOX of DuQuoin.

Mr. WILCOX was a Vietnam veteran and a member of the AMVETS Post No. 5 in Mt Vernon and the American Legion Post No. 141 in Mt. Vernon.
