Randall Gene Wheeler

Randall Wheeler Of Bonnie Died At Age 22

Randall Gene Wheeler, 22, Bonnie, was found dead 3:30 p.m. Aug. 14, 1990, after drowning in Rend Lake.

Mr. Wheeler was employed as a farm worker at Mt. Vernon State Game Farm.

He was born Feb. 23, 1968, in Mt. Vernon, a son of Larry G. and Virginia Aline (Morgan) Wheeler.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Hughey Funeral Home with Grant Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow in South Hickory Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Wheeler is survived by his parents of Bonnie; two sisters, Teresa Lynn Wheeler of Mt. Vernon and Mrs. James (Misty Renee) Smith of Dillon, Colo.; grandparents, Norman Wheeler and Opal Morgan both of Mt. Vernon; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Mr. Wheeler was a member of Ducks Unlimited and the Flint Knappers Club. He was active in Future Farmers of America while attending Waltonville High School.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Lewis Morgan; grandmother, Irene Wheeler, and one brother, Andy Lee Wheeler.

Memorials may be made to Ducks Unlimited and will be accepted at the funeral home at any time.
