Mathilda A. (Ziarnek) Wesolak

Mathilda A. Wesolak, 88, of Scheller passed away 8:38 p.m. July 9, 2005, at Crossroads Community Hospital in Mt. Vernon.

Mrs. Wesolak was a homemaker.

She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church in Du Bois. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters and a member of the St. Theresa Altar Sodality.

She was born March 10, 1917, in Scheller, a daughter of Boniface and Cecilia (Ratajczyk) Ziarnek.

She married Stanley F. Wesolak April 20, 1942, at St. Barbara's Catholic Church in Scheller; he passed away July 20, 2003.

Mrs. Wesolak is survived by three children, Rose Marie Kujawa and husband Ernie of Scheller, Robert Wesolak and wife Clara of Scheller and Patricia Davitz and husband Everett of Scheller; a sister, Emily Tomaszewski of Radom; five grandchildren, Brenda Rohde and husband Chuck, Craig Kujawa and wife Julie, Brian Davitz, Bradley Davitz and Bridget Davitz; six great-grandchildren, Abby Rohde, Ansley Rohde, Keatyn Kujawa, Kelby Kujawa, Quinton Kujawa and Calan Kujawa; three step-grandchildren, Mike, Randy and Bob; and six step-great-grandchildren, Jason, Lisa, Danielle, Casey, Derek and Nathan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers; four sisters; and a step-granddaughter, Cindy.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Charles Catholic Church in Du Bois, with the Rev. Daniel Jurek officiating. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa. Interment will be in St. Charles Cemetery at Du Bois. Friends may make memorials to the St. Charles Church Renovation Fund and they will be accepted at the funeral home.
