Sarah Elizabeth (Finfrock) Warren

Sarah Elizabeth Warren, 62, of Altamont and formerly of Bluford, died 5:30 a.m. Aug. 16, 1992, at St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

Mrs. Warren was school nurse at Bluford area schools for several years.

She was born Oct. 14, 1929 in rural Altamont, a daughter of Louis and Emma (Bucholz) Finfrock.

June 23, 1968, at First United Methodist Church in Altamont, she married James Warren, who died July 28, 1990.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Union Chapel United Methodist Church in Texico. Burial will follow in Union Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at Kull Funeral Home in Altamont and after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church in Texico.

Mrs. Warren is survived by one son, Louis Clyde Warren of Mt. Vernon; one daughter, Debbie Elizabeth Warren of Minneapolis; two brothers, John Finfrock and wife Marcia, and Benson Finfrock and wife Marsha, all of Altamont; four sisters, Mrs. Harlan (Luella) Hooks of Mason, Mrs. Gerald (Mary Ann) Young of Effingham, and Jane Pugsley and Mrs. David (Allegra) Ellis, both of Altamont; two grandchildren, Jesse and Zachary Stumbaugh; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Harvey (Irene) Lovin and Marjorie Hess, both of Bluford; and one brother-in-law, John Warren of Bluford.

Mrs. Warren was a member of Union Chapel United Methodist Church, Illinois Education Association, Geological Society of Mt. Vernon, Illinois School Nurses Association and Jefferson County Home Extension.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and one brother-in-law, Danny Pugsley.

Memorials may be made to Union Chapel United Methodist Church.
