Rollie Rufus Wallace

Funeral services for Rollie Rufus WALLACE were held at 2:30 p.m. today at the Pulley Funeral Home with the Rev. David LYNCH officiating. Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery at Opdyke.

Mr. WALLACE, who lived at 1420 South 12th Street, died at noon Saturday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Maxine HODGES on RFD 4, Mt. Vernon. He was 80 years, four months, and seven days old.

Mr. WALLACE was born September 23, 1879 in Marion County, the son of Ben and Mary (BLISS) WALLACE.

He was married to Doris LOWERY who preceded him in death.

Survivors include two sons, Robert WALLACE of Decatur and Harl WALLACE of Antigo, Wis.; a daughter, Mrs. Maxine HODGES of RFD 4, Mt. Vernon; a sister Ona CARPENTER of Los Angeles, Calif.; and eight grandchildren.

Mr. WALLACE was a member of the First Church of God.

He was a retired employee of the Mt. Vernon car shops.
