Claude Wilford Tuttle

Claude Wilford TUTTLE, 66, a widely known dog breeder and trainer, died at 8:00 o'clock Wednesday night at his home in Ina.

For many years Mr. TUTTLE had been recognized as one of Southern Illinois' foremost experts on hunting dogs, their breeding, their care and their training.

He was a member of the Ina Missionary Baptist Church where funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. The Rev. James Brenton will officiate and burial will follow in Kirk Cemetery at Ina. The body will lie in state at the Ina Funeral Home where friends may call after 4:00 p.m. today.

Mr. TUTTLE was born November 22, 1895 in Jefferson County, IL the son of Elmer & Ada (SETTLE) TUTTLE. He was a lifetime citizen of Jefferson County.

He married Dora HERMAN, who survives.

Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, James TUTTLE of Ina; two daughters, Miss Claudean TUTTLE of Alton and Mrs. Marjorie BOUCHER of Edwardsville; one sister, Mrs. Thomas ROTRAMBLE of St. Charles, MO; and 3 grandchildren
