Frances (Cohlmeyer) Threatt

Frances Threatt Dies At Home Of Sister In Dix

Frances Esther Threatt died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Walter Riley, in Dix at 1:15 p.m. Sunday after an illness of several weeks. Her age was 59 years and 18 days.

Funeral services will be held at the Dix Methodist Church at 11 o'clock Wednesday morning. The Rev. Joseph Harris of Dix will officiate, assisted by the Rev. C. I. Heflin of Kell, and burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery. The body will remain at the Osborn Funeral Home in Dix until the funeral hour.

Mrs. Threatt was the daughter of W. H. and Mersey Ester (Hilliard) Cohlmeyer.

She was a member of the Methodist Zion Church near Range.

Mrs. Threat was a Mt. Vernon merchant, operating a store on East Main Street until ill health caused her retirement. A sister survives.
