Bertie. L. Thierry, Dahlgren, died 12:25 a.m. Feb. 8. 1992, at Crossroads Community Hospital.

Mrs. Thierry was one of the oldest residents of the United States and was a housewife. She was a Protestant.

Born in Bridgeport, IL on . April 22, .1880, she was a daughter of Woodard and' Mary Ann (Tucker) Bishop.

On Aug. 22, 1897, she married Albert Thierry. He preceded her in death.

Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Gholson Funeral Home in Dahigren with the Rev. Jim Hefner officiating. Burial will follow at the Dahigren IOOF Cemetery. Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Survivors include one son, Charles Thierry and wife, Marion, of Belle Rive; one daughter, Chloe Baker of Dahlgren; 16 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.

Mrs. Thierry was preceded in death by her parents, one infant daughter, two brothers and one sister.
