Clarice C. (Bean) Taylor

Clarice Taylor Of Mt. Vernon died At Age 83

Clarice C. Taylor, 83, of Mt. Vernon died 1:15 p.m. Jan 8, 2003, at Countryside Manor Nursing Home in Mt. Vernon.

She was an inspector and sales clerk for Mode-O-Day.

Mrs. Taylor was born Sept. 20, 1919, in Jefferson County to Frank E. and America E. (Rightnowar) Bean.

She married George W. Taylor Aug. 17, 1938, Poole Ky.; he survives.

Funeral services will be held a 1 p.m. Saturday at the Hughey Funeral Home. Mr. Randy Sells will officiate. Burial will be at Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Hughey Funeral Home.

In addition to her husband she is survived by one brother, Alfred “Mug” Bean of Mt. Vernon; three sister-in-laws, Louise Bean and Marie Bean, both of Mt. Vernon, and Nell Bean of New Castle, Ind.; also several nieces and nephews.

She was a member of the Central Christian Church.

Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her parents; and four brothers, Albert W. Bean, Stanton O. Bean, Veachel Bean and Gleason Bean.

For those who wish memorials may be made to the Central Christian Church Building Fund and will be accepted at the funeral home or may be mailed to Hughey Funeral Home, P. O. Box 721, Mt. Vernon, ILL. 62864.
