Adam Gifford Taylor

Adam Gifford TAYLOR, 81 of near Waltonville died at Good Samaritan Hospital at 9:40 o'clock this morning of pneumonia which developed following an operation for internal injuries. Mr. Taylor was injured Sunday when he fell while attending a picnic near Chester, Ill. He was operated Monday at the hospital.

The body was taken to Fry Funeral home in Waltonville. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at the Methodist in Waltonville, with the Rev.G.A. Phelps officiating, and burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery in Woodlawn.

Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife, Minnie; three sons, Everett of Carbondale, Alva of Mt. Vernon and Earl of Springfield, Ill. one daughter, Mrs. Elsie Diel of Woodlawn; a half brother, Will Taylor of Salem; and three grandchildren.

The body will be removed to the family home tommorrow morning.
