Russell Strattan Dead

Word was received here this morning of the death of Russell Strattan, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. D. Strattan, of Peoria .

The little fellow’s death was due to appendicitis, and he was not able to stand the effects of an operation which he was forced to undergo.

Russell was a manly chap and recognized favorite.

The arrangements for the funeral have not been learned, but the body will be brought here probably on late Southern train tonight.

The funeral of Russell Strattan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Strattan, who died Wednesday in Peoria, will be held at 3 o’clock Saturday afternoon at the First Presbyterian church.

The remains will leave Peoria at one o’clock today, and will arrive here on the 1:01 a.m. train Saturday.
