Roy Taylor Strattan Dies at Age 79; Rites Tomorrow

Roy T. Strattan, a lifetime resident of Mt. Vernon,died Sunday at the age of 79 years

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, at 3:30 p.m. at Myers Chapel, with the Rev. Bayne Wilson officiating, and burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. The body will remain at Myers Chapel where friends may call at any time until the funeral hour.

Mr. Strattan was born in Aug.1871 in Iowa, the son of Benjamin and Adelia Gregg Strattan.

He was employed for many years at the D. H. Wise Clothing Co.

His only survivor is a daughter, Mrs. Wilma Miller of Los Angeles, Calif.
