Mrs. Georgetta Stonesypher widow of Charles Stonesypher and a lifetime resident of this county, died at the home of her son, Orley Stonesypher, at 1 am Sunday. Her age was 77 years, 11 months and ten days.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. A. B. Clodfelter at two o'clock Monday afternoon at Hopewell church and burial followed in the nearby cemetery.

Mrs. Stonesypher was born Sept. 21, 1862 in Jefferson county, where she spent her entire life as a respected citizen.

She was the daughter of the late George Bates and Caroline Johnson Bates.

She was united in marriage with Charles Stonesypher, who preceded her in death in 1911. A devout woman, she was.
