Mrs. Irene Snyder, 62, of Benton, a former resident of Mt. Vernon, died yesterday at Franklin Hospital in Benton.

She was born and reared in Mt. Vernon.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 pm at the Mitchell Funeral Home in Benton, and burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery, northeast of Mt. Vernon. The body will lie in state at the funeral home in Benton, where friends may call after 1:00 pm Friday.

Mrs. Snyder is survived by her husband, Claude; four children, Mrs. Joan Johnson, Mrs. Elaine Warner and James Snyder, all of Burke, Idaho, and Philo Snyder of Benton; and 15 grandchildren.
