Emro Shoemaker

Emro SHOEMAKER, Barren Township farmer, died at 12:10 last night about three miles east of Sesser. His age was 55y16d.

He was born March 15, 1882 in Indiana, and had been a resident of the farm home where he died for the past ten months.

Mr. SHOEMAKER was the son of Lewis and Elizabeth SHOEMAKER, both of whom preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 Friday morning at Hazel Dell Church near Sesser and burial will follow in Old Baptist Cemetery, also near Sesser. The body will remain at the home until the funeral hour.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah; one son, Charles at home; one daughter Geraldine TURNER of Mt. Vernon; five brothers, Sherman anad Gorman of Mt. Vernon; Charley of Minnesota; Arthur of Sesser; and Earl of Tamaroa; and two sisters, Mrs. Goldie ROBINSON and Mrs. Ocla GORDON of Mt. Vernon.
