The casket remains of John Robert SETTLE arrived in Ina Wednesday morning and are now at the Ina Funeral Home.

The funeral will be held today (Thursday) at the Ina Baptist Church at 2 pm with Rev. C. W. MAULDING officiating.

John Robert a First Lieutenant in the army was killed in a bomber crash on the Island Samar on Jan 25, 1945

He is survived by two brothers First Lieutenant Lyle SETTLE with the Army in Germany and Roger SETTLE of Ina and his parents Mr. and Mrs. R. C. SETTLE

Burial will take place in the Kirk Cemetery.
