Helen Settle, 69, of Route 1, Ina, died Monday morning at Barnes Hospital, St. Louis, Mo.

She was a member of the Ina Free Will Baptist Church.

Mrs. Settle was born Jan. 30, 1908, in West Frankfort, the daughter of George and Pearl (Peerman) Newlin.

She was married to Ray Settle. He survives.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Ina Funeral Home, with the Rev. Larry Clyatt officiating. Burial will be in Kirk Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 5:30 p.m. today.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Settle is survived by two sons, Lloyd Ray of Ina and Jonathan David of Princeton; a grandchild; a brother, Lloyd Newlin of Long Beach, Calif., and a sister, Mrs. Mary Midyette of McLeansboro.
