Cora P. Sechrest

Tina Sechrest , daughter of William Sechrest died at the home of her parents Tuesday March 10 of tuberculosis of which she had been a patient sufferer for several months.

She was laid to rest at Hopewell Wednesday afternoon at 2:30. Rev. W. J. Hopper and Rev. J. C. Kinison conducted the funeral services.

Cora Pearl, daughter of William and Lorena C. Sechrest was born in Jefferson County July 25, 1891 and departed this life March 10, 1914, aged 22 years, 7 months and 15 days.

She was converted to the Christian faith at Zion M. E. Church and united with that Church Nov. 1905.

Tiny Joy is the name by which she was familiarly known, was of a always cheerful disposition, always had a smile and a kind word for ??????. Being true to her Christian faith she was careful not to ????? To take part in any ????? Might lead her to a ????? Christian usefulness.

Her childlike life was above reproach kind, loving and ????? Brother and sisters, always loving to father and mother and ????? Grief-stricken parents ????? Their loss they will ever have ?????? That Tiny never ????? Kind word or one act of ???? She had been under the care of the family physician for ????? Years of her life and ????? A Great deal but through it all was never known to complain. She was cheerful and perfectly ????? To the will of God????? Asleep in Christ ????? March 10th at 4:20?????

Deceased leaves a father ????? Brothers and 4 sisters to morn the loss.
