Harry Schott

Harry Schott Dies at Age 68

Harry Schott died at 8:00 a.m. today at home, 1004 south 22nd street, at the age of 68 years, one month and 27 days.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Myers Chapel, with the Rev. Ace Summers officiating, and burial will follow in West Salem Cemetery. The body will remain at Myers Chapel where friends may call after 1:30 p.m. Sunday.

Mr, Schott was born June 19, 1874.

On March 30, 1939 he was married to Flora Snow, who survives.

Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Lawrence Schott of Boyleston, Ill.; one daughter, Mrs. Ed Morlan of Boyleston, Ill.; one brother, Harrace Schott of Pontiac, Ill.; one sister, Mrs. Nora Hadley; two step-sons, Alva Snow and Earl Snow of Mt. Vernon; and three step-daughters, Mrs. Edgar Dodson and Mrs. Ira Ramsey of Mt. Vernon and Mrs. Alma Vickers of West Helena, Ark.
