Susie Schmidt, Woodlawn, Dies Thursday At 80

Mrs. Susie SCHMIDT of Woodlawn died a 9 AM yesterday at the Fireside Nursing Home, Centralia at the age of 80 yrs 11 mo. and 21 days.

Funeral services at 2 PM Sat at Meyers Chapel with Rev. Carter SMITH officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens. The body will be in state at Meyers Chapel where friends may call after 4 PM Friday.

Mrs. SCHMIDT was born 4 July 1883, at Woodlawn the daughter of John & Carrie (PETERSON) WOOD.

She was married on 6 Mar. 1904 in Woodlawn to Jessie SCHMIDT who precedes her in death.

Surviving are a son Clyde SCHMIDT of Mt Vernon; a brother Nelson WOOD of Woodlawn and two grandsons.

She was a member of Baptist Church of Woodlawn.
