W.J. Rupard

Prominent Man of Dix Died at His Residence

W.J. Rupard, aged 77 years, died this morning at his home in Dix at 8:45 o'clock.

Mr. Rupard was preceded in death by his wife and one son, Keller, in 1906.

He is survived by one son, P.H. Rupard, Mt. Vernon, and one daughter, Mae, at home. He has three brothers, M.F. and J.G. Rupard, living in Winchester, Ky., and James G., living in Pittsburg, Kas., and one sister, Mrs. Cinthia White living in Winchester, Ky.

Mr. Rupard had been in failing health for the past few years. He was a highly respected, and well known farmer, and was a member of the Christian church at Ebenezer.

The funeral services will be held at the First Christian church in Dix, tomorrow afternoon at two o'clock and burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery this city.
