Nora Elizabeth Rose, 84, of Caseyville, died at 1 am Saturday at the St. Frances Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Mrs. Rose was born on Aug. 24, 1893 in Kimundy, the daughter of Allen P. and Frances (Reynar) Maxey.

She left Caseyville in August, 1977 to live with her daughter in Cape Girardeau.

She was married to Frank D. Rose, who died in 1955.

Mrs. Rose was a member of the United Methodist Church of Caseyville and The United Methodist Women's Organization. She had worked at the International Shoe Factory in Mt. Vernon for 10 years.

Burial is scheduled for 1 pm Monday at the Hopewell Cemetery.

Mrs. Rose is survived by her daughter Mrs. Jack Foust, Cape Girardeau, Mo., and two grandchildren, Jack W. Foust, O'Fallon, Mo., and Connie Jean Herd, Casyville and her sister, Gertrude Grimes, St. Louis.
