Word has been received here of the death of Frank D. Rose, 55, which occurred this morning in Galesburg, Ill.

Mr. Rose is survived by his wife, Nora Rose of Mt. Vernon; one daughter, Mrs. Betty Foust of Collinsville; one brother, Alex Rose of East St. Louis; one sister, Mrs. Nell Cameron of Alliston, Ontario; and two grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements were incomplete. There were tentative plans for burial in Jefferson county.
