Funeral services were held at the Hopewell Methodist Church this afternoon for Mrs. Martha E. "Mattie" Reynar, former Mt. Vernon resident who died Friday in Sleepy Eye, Minn.

The Services were conducted by the Rev. Mrs. Alma McClain and burial followed in Hopewell Cemetery.

Mrs. Reynar was 90 years, two months and 25 days of age. She was born August 6, 1862.

She was married to Richard Reynar, who preceded her in death in 1906.

Surviving are one son, June Reynar of Tolono, Ill.; two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Haus of Fairfax, Minn. and Mrs. Mae Spiese of Independence, Mo.; eight grand children and 12 great- grandchildren.
