Revanell Stewart (Stewart) Quinn

Revanell Stewart Quinn, 79, of Mount Vernon, Ind., formerly of Jefferson County, died 10:36 a.m. Dec. 20, 1999, at her home in Indiana.

Mrs. Quinn was a homemaker.

She was born March 10, 1920, in Jefferson County to Albert Earl and Lillian Omega (Bean) Stewart.

She married Lloyd Riley Quinn on Dec. 24, 1937, in Evansville, Ind.; he survives.

Services will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday at Hughey Funeral Home, with the Rev. Alan Rhein officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Memorial Cemetery in Mt. Vernon, Ill. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Deeann and husband William “Bill” McGennes of Mount Vernon, Ind., and Joan Quinn Parrish of Mount Vernon, Ind.; five grandchildren, Trent Redman, Troy Hirsch, Todd Redman, Quinn Mary Buchanan and Ryan Miller; seven great-grandchildren, Michael Pfister, Tari Pfister, Julia Pfister, Jamie Pfister, Allie Joe Redman, Bailey Redman and Isaac Redman; three sisters, Margie Lomax, Sarah Lee and Norma McLaughlin, all of Mt. Vernon, Ill.; six nieces, Sharon Flota, Linda Downs, Marsha Myers, Sandra Minton, Connie Lee and Vickie McLaughlin; and two nephews, Scott McLaughlin and Mark McLaughlin.

Mrs. Quinn was a member of First United Methodist Church in Mount Vernon, Ind.

She was very active in many women’s clubs and groups in Mount Vernon, Ind., until her health began to fail.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
