Services for Floy F. Prather will be held Sunday at Chatham Methodist Church with Rev. Donald L. Batz officiating. Burial will be monday 11 a.m. at Oakwood Cemetery at Mt Vernon. Mr. Prather, 62, died at 9:05 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Hospital. Born in Linneus, Mo. Mr. Prather was the son of William and Lucy Sellee Prather. He Graduated from Chilliecithe Business School in 1922. Mr. Prather had been employed for eight years at the Illinois State Revenue Dept. He was a member of the Chatham Methodist Church. Lilla Chapter OES No. 337, Central Lodge No. 71 AF &AM and Springfield Consistory. He is survived by his wife Helen A. Prather and mother Mrs. Lucy Prather of Chillicothe Mo.
