Mrs. Miles Porter, Colored, Dies Today

Mrs. Charlotte Porter, colored, died at 7:30 o'clock this morning at her home, 501 E. Bell street. Her age was 41 years, 11 months and five days.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00 pm at the C.M.E. church, with the Rev. Craig officiating, and burial will be in Bethel Memorial cemetery.

Friends may call at the Campbell & Parker Funeral Home at any time up to the funeral hour.

Mrs. Porter is survived by her husband, Miles Porter; four children, Alfreda Porter, Willie Porter and Leon Porter, all of Mt. Vernon and Miles Porter, Jr., of Marks, Mississippi.
