Nesa Jane PETERSON, 69, of Mt. Vernon, died Sunday afternoon at he Good Samaritan Hospital.

She was the widow of Daniel PETERSON, who preceded her in death April 20, 1935.

Her parents were James and Victoria (CASEY) HESTER.

Mrs. PETERSON was a member of the Elk Prairie Church.

She is survived by one son, William T. PETERSON of Bloomington; three daughters, Mrs. Joe QUINN of Mt. Vernon; Mrs. Claude PLACE of Peoria; and Mrs. Joe FAIRCHILD of Inglewood, Cal.; one brother Cleve HESTER of Ina, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 Tuesday at the Elk Prairie Christian Church, conducted by Lester PIFER. Burial was at the Abner Cemetery.
