Grace Palmer Dies At 9:30 am Today

Mrs. Grace Palmer died at 9:30 o'clock this monring at her home 313 south Second street.

The body was taken to Myers Chapel. Funeral arrangements were incomplete today.

Mrs. Palmer, a resident of this city for many years, had been in failing health for some time.

Rites Monday for Mrs. Grace Palmer

Funeral services for Mrs. Grace Palmer will be held Monday at 10:30 am at Myers Chapel with the Rev. Bird Green officiating.

The body will remain at Myers Chapel, where friends may call at any time after 10 am Sunday.

Mrs. Palmer died at 9:30 am yesterday at her home, 313 south Second street at the age of 76 years and 16 days.

She was born January 23, 1875 in Jersey county, Ill., the daughter of Henry C. and Mary Ann (Caudle) Hart.

She was first married to John S. Hart. She was later married to James Palmer, who preceded her in death in 1938.

She is survived by one son, Alfred Hart of Michigan City, Ind.
