Alva Page of this city died at the Veterans Hospital in Marion, IL at the age of 48y10m14d.

He was a Veteran of the first World War.

He was born May 20, 1894 in Jefferson County, IL, the son of James and Della (Tucker) Page, and spent his entire lifetime as a resident of this county.

On December 25, 1918 he was united in marriage with Estelle Alvey who survives.

Besides his widow, he is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Page; two sons, Lee A.(lva) Page, who is stationed with the U.S. Army in California; and Elwood (Clive) Page of Mt. Vernon; two brothers, Orval Page of Mt. Vernon and Lawrence Page of Benton; three sisters, Mrs. Anna Lovin and Mrs. Glen Bond of Mt. Vernon; and Mrs. Martha Waterson of Salem.

Funeral services had not been completed this afternoon.
