Charles Everett Osborn

EVERETT OSBORN DIES LAST NIGHT; RITES TOMORROW

Everett Osborn, a well known carpenter and ex-serivce man, died of pneumonia at his home seven miles east of Mt. Vernon at seven o'clock Sunday evening.

He was born near Bluford, July 24, 1896, and is survived by his widow, one daughter, Phyllis, five years old; his mother, MRs. Della Osborn; and five brothers and sisters.

His father died in October, 1934.

Funeral services will be held at the East Hickory Hill church at two o'clock Tuesday afternoon with the Rev. Charles Martin of Bluford and Rev. J. P. Burton of Ewing officiating. Interment will be made in the adjoining cemetery.

Services at the church and at the grave will be in charge of Jefferson Post, 141, American Legion.


OBITUARY

Charles Everett was born ot Milton and Idella Osborn, on July 24, 1896 in Wayne County. Died May 3, 1936 at his home, 7 miles east of Mt. Vernon at the age of 39 years, 9 months and 9 days.

He was united in marriage to Jennie Clemins, Dec. 2, 1922. And to this union one daughter Phyllis Allen was born.

His widow and daughter survive, also his aged mother.

One brother, Oliver of Sims, died May 17th.

Everett was a christian and attended Sunday school and church regularly. He was a lovign son, husband and father and is deeply missed by his many loved ones.

We will meet again some other day.
We know that you are now at rest,
God, called you home and he knows best.
