Anna Leota Moss Mt. Vernon, Illinois

Mrs. Anna Leota Moss, 77, of 214 N. 12th Street, died at 5:55 a.m. today at Good Samaritan Hospital.

Mrs. Moss was born in Illinois on July 17, 1894, the daughter of Robert Alonzo and Della (Pearson) Koons.

She was married on May 27, 1914, in Mt. Vernon, to Eddie B. Moss, who preceded her in death on January 12, 1971.

They celebrated their Golden wedding anniversary in 1964.

Mrs. Moss was a lifelong resident of Jefferson county, and lived at 214 N. 12th St. for 50 years.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Myers Chapel with Rev. Robert Freytag officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral chapal after 6:00 p.m. Thursday.

Mrs. Moss is survived by one son, Bob Ed Moss, Mt. Vernon; three grandchildren, Mrs. Jean Ellen Koike, Silver Spring, Md., Mrs. Mary Jane Ohms, Washington, Ill., and June Ann Moss, Mt. Vernon; and two great-grandchildren.
