Receive Word of Sister's Death

Mrs. Alice Cummings and Miss Nell Kell have received word of the death of their sister, Mrs. W. W. Merz of Salem.

Mrs. Merz died this morning in Decatur, Ill., where she was visiting with her daughter, Mrs. Gladys Welch, a former resident of Mt. Vernon.

Funeral arrangements were incomplete. The funeral services will be held in Salem.
