Denzel (Jick) McCOLLUM, former Ina man, died about noon Monday at Alton, Ill., after a long illness. He was 51 years old.

Mr. McCOLLUM was the son of the late Edgar and Cora (PAGE) McCOLLUM and was born and spent his early life in Ina. He then moved to the Alton area where he has since resided.

He was twice married, his first marriage being to Louise LEONARD. They were the parents of six sons and one daughter.

He remarried at Alton and has one son by this marriage.

Also surviving is one brother, Earl McCOLLUM of East Alton.

His parents, a brother and a sister preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held Thursday at Smith's Funeral Home in Alton. Burial took place at an Alton Cemetery.
