Funeral Wednesday For Daniel Malone

Daniel Malone, painter and decorator, died Sunday night at 9 o'clock at his home, 312 S. 5th street, at the age of 72 years, 11 motnhs and 14 days.

His funeral will be held Wednesday in Myers Chapel at 3:30 pm. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery. The body will lie in state at the chapel.

A lifelong resident of Mt. Vernon, Mr. Malone was born Jan. 22, 1873, the son of William and Jemia Ann (Robinson) Malone.

Mr. Malone is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Henry and Mrs. Lizzie Patterson of Mt. Vernon.

His wife, the former Nellie Gregory, preceded him in death.
