John Heard Mack

John Heard Mack Dies at Home of Son on Broadway

John Heard Mack, 51 a resident of Mt. Vernon for the past 28 years and a former employe of the Master Baking Company, died yesterday at 6:30 pm at the home of his son, Marshall Mack, 509 Broadway.

He was born in Kentucky on Oct. 6, 1896, the son of Charles C. Mack.

His wife, the former Mary K. Fischer, died in 1938.

He was a member of the Methodist church of Kankakee, Ill.

Funeral services will be held in Myers Chapel Monday at 2 pm. The Rev. R.N. Stockton and the Rev. Calvin Byah? will conduct the service and burial will be in Oakwood cemetery. The body will lie in state at the chapel.

Besides his son, Mr. Mack is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Martha Foster, of Mt. Vernon, two sisters, Mrs. Grace Page, of Marshall, Mo.; and MRs. Ruth Pemberton, of Seattle, Wash. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
