John Lynch Of Bonnie Died At Age 77

John M. Lynch, 77, Route 1, Bonnie, died at 4:40 a.m. today in Mt. Vernon Hospital. He was an employee of Vernois Inc.

Mr. Lynch was born in Jefferson County Nov. 3, 1906, the son of Lyeurgus and Nevada (Darnell) Lynch.

On Dec. 2, 1937, in Mt. Vernon, he married Ethel Allen, who survives.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Johnston Funeral Home in Ina. Burial will follow in Kirk Cemetery at Ina.

Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

In addition to his wife, survivors include one son, Douglas Allen Lynch of Mt. Vernon; two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Carol) Dees of Bonnie and Mrs. Phillip (Karen) Newell of Harlingen Texas; eight grandchildren; one great-grandson; two sisters, Opal Osborn of Mt. Vernon and Hallie Woelfel of Centralia; three nieces, and six nephews.

Mr. Lynch was a member of the Elk Prairie Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, one granddaughter, one sister, one half brother and three nephews.
