William Daniel Ligon

William Daniel LIGON, 81, a well known retired Ina farmer died at 1:23 a.m. today in Jefferson Memorial Hospital. He had been hospitalized three weeks.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Free Will Baptist Church of Ina, conducted by Rev. Riley BURTON. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery south of Benton. Friends may call at the Ina Funeral Home after 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Mr. LIGON was born March 27, 1875 in Franklin County, Illinois, the son of D. G. and Melvina (RAE) LIGON.

He was married to Zula Richardson.

Surviving are three sons, Guy, William and Ted of Ina; six daughters, Mrs. Gladys DRENNAN of Mt. Vernon; Mrs. Rusie FISHER of Ina; Mrs. Wilma COOK of West Frankfort; Mrs. Edith ODLE of West Frankfort; Mrs. Marie BOWMAN of Everett, Wash.; and Mrs. Wanda McLAUGHLIN of Ina. Three children died in infancy. Also surviving are 31 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
