Victor Klee Liebengood

V.K. Liebengood, 79, 27 W. Crescent Drive, died at 3:45 a.m. today at Jefferson Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Myers Chapel with burial in Oakwood Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral chapel after 5 p.m. Tuesday. Masonic services will be held at the funeral chapel at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Mr. Liebengood was born in Mt. Vernon on August 13, 1891, the son of Edmond and Anna (Sullivan) Liebengood.

He was married on September 10, 1914 in Mt. Vernon, to Rose Pittman, who survives.

He was employed as a maintenance man for Western Union for 33 years, having retired in 1951. He was a 50 year member of the Blue Lodge, A.F. and A.M. also the Shrine, and Commandry, and was a past patron of the Andrew Webb Chapter, Eastern Star.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Robert Liebengood, Southhaven, Miss.; a daughter, Mrs. Rosa Lee Cook, Midland, Texas; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
