Louisa "Cassie" (Blosser) Leuty, born March 29, 1874 & died 1945

Mrs. Cassie Leuty of Divide is Dead

Mrs. Cassie Leuty, widow of James B. Leuty, died at her home in Divide yesterday at the age of 71 years.

She was born March 29, 1874 in Rock Bridge, Ohio, the daughter of G. W. and Sarah Blosser.

She moved to Divide when she was a small child and spent the remainder of her life there.

On October 14, 1899 she was united in marriage to James B. Leuty who preceded her in death November 21, 1912.

Mrs. Leuty was the last member of her father's family and was preceded in death by two sisters, Mrs. Maria J. Woodward and Mrs. Mary E. Simmons.

She joined Union Chapel church early in life and remained a faithful member until her death. She was an untiring servant of her loved ones and friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in Panther Fork Church.
