J. Gale Lemmon

J. Gale Lemmon Dies; Services Here Tomorrow

J. Gale Lemmon, 69, of 908 Warren avenue, died at 4:15 p.m. Saturday at Jefferson Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient for 18 days.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Myers Chapel after 4 p.m. today. Burial will be in Bethel Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Lemmon was born Jan. 28, 1897, the son of Charles S. and Laura (Newell) Lemmon.

He was a retired farmer and a veteran of World War I. Mr. Lemmon was a member of the American Legion, Eagles Lodge and the Hod Carriers Union.

Survivors include: Four sons, James Lemmon of Dahlgren, Charles M. Lemmon of Hallam, Nebr., Glenn A. Lemmon of Bluford and Sgt. Maj. John D. Lemmon of Colorado Springs, Colo., and two sisters, Mrs. Glada Johnson and Mrs. Joy Johnson, both of Waltonville; twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
