Hattie Lucinda (Friend) Lane

Hattie Lane Dies; Funeral At Rockford

Mr. Hattie L. Lane, 71, of 9130 Baldwin Drive in Rockford, died at 8:40 p.m. Thursday in Riverside Manor Nursing Home in that city. She was a former resident of Bluford.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Sundberg Funeral Home, 215 north Sixth Street, in Rockford, with Dr. P.D. Mustric officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park at Rockford.

The body will lie in state at the funeral home where friends may call between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m. Monday.

Mrs. Lane was born June 1, 1895, at Bluford, the Daughter of Frank and Anna (Summers) Friend.

At Clayton, Mo., on April 2, 1910, she was married to Everet H. Lane, who survives.

She is also survived by three sons, Adron and Ovid Lane, both ofo Caledonia, Ill., and Arvene M. Lane of Roscoe, Ill.; a daughter, Mrs. Clarence vance of Rockford; a brother, Herbert Friend of Bluford; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Billips of Morton, Ill.; 12 grandchlidren; and nine great-grandchildren.
