Emil E. Lamke

Emil E. Lamke, 80, of St. Louis, MO, formerly of Scheller, passed away at 9:48 A.M., Saturday, January 10, 2004 at his residence.

Emil was a retired Layoutman for Alvey Conveyor Co. He was a member of the Epipheny Catholic Church in St. Louis, St. Louis VFW Post 8888 and the Teamsters Union. He was a US Army veteran of W.W. II.

Emil was born November 13, 1923 at Sesser, IL the son of Joseph E. and Clara (Glupczenski) Lamke.

He married Hattie M. Borowiak on May 15, 1954 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Radom and she survives.

He is survived by his wife of St. Louis, five children- Ernest E. Lamke and wife Tina of Scheller, Marlene Kabat and husband Bob of Scheller, Ronald Joseph Lamke and wife Lisa of St. Louis, Gary Lamke and wife Karla of Nashville, Nancy Humbrecht and husband Joe of Fenton, MO, two sisters- Gertrude Dressler and Irene Lamke both of Scheller, one brother- Anselm Lamke of Scheller, fifteen grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister- Proxy Lamke.

Mass of Christian Burial was at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, January 13, 2004 at the St. Barbara Catholic Church in Scheller with Fr. Daniel Jurek officiating. Friends called from 4 to 8 P.M. Monday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa. The Rosary will be prayed at 7:45 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Interment was in the St. Barbara Cemetery at Scheller. Friends may make memorials to the Peregrine Society at 2342 Hampton St. Louis, MO 63139 or BJC Hospice at 9890 Clayton Rd., Suite 200, St. Louis, MO 63124.
